Representative Cases
On behalf of certain Lloyd’s and London insurers, we successfully prosecuted and recovered in excess of USD 200 million against a national pipe manufacturer for the failure of its component part fitting, which caused catastrophic fire damage and business interruption loss of an oil refinery plant in downstate Illinois in 2001. The verdict was the single highest returned by a jury in Cook County, Illinois history.
