Edward is an experienced trial lawyer with an emphasis on catastrophic injury cases.
He has successfully defended general contractors, subcontractors, lumber suppliers, and engineers in construction accident and defect claims. Edward recently tried and won a defense verdict on behalf of a municipal airport in a multi-million dollar construction negligence claim.
Edward also defends industrial manufacturers in toxic tort and product liability claims.
Edward represents attorneys, law firms, doctors, and hospitals in professional malpractice claims. He recently obtained a defense verdict on behalf of a prominent bankruptcy law firm in Southern California.
Finally, Edward prosecutes and defends companies in corporate malfeasance claims and contract disputes. He also advises privately-held businesses with their legal and risk management issues.
Edward is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Council on Ethical Billing, as well as the Million Dollars Advocates Forum. He is also a frequent lecturer on topics regarding construction law, the defense of catastrophic injury cases, and the tripartite relationship between the insured, its carrier, and defense counsel.
